FAMILY have had to cancel the first three dates on their British tour which was due to resume after a break for Christmas at Leeds University on Saturday (13), because an operation Roger Chapman needed was more serious than doctors believed.
Chapman went into hospital last week to have an ear drum repaired and instead of a few days convalescence he is now not allowed to sing for at least ten days.
The other two cancelled dates are Stevenage Locarno on Sunday (14) and Portsmouth Guildhall two days later. Family now resume the tour at the Festival Hall, London, on January 19 and every effort will be made to reschedule the dates later this year.
