Newsletter, November / December 1971

Dear All, Firstly many apologies for the newsletter being so late and secondly it will be a short newsletter as there will be another in late December for Christmas.

The album is now out. It is called FEARLESS (K54003) and has a really great cover which is divided into opening sections. It’s red blue and white in colour. The album is very different from any the group have made before but is just as good in quality, so give it a listen and get spreading the good news!!!!!

To celebrate the success of In My Own Time, the forthcoming tour, and the Album release the group held a party at the Kinney offices. A great time was had by all, including many old friends who we haven’t seen for a long time.

On the tour with FAMILY are America and Jeff Dexter. Also at Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle the Ladbrook Horns will be playing with the group.

SNIPPETS — Poli has got a dog. Rob has got a cat. And would you believe Roger has got some Kittens. The group have bought a Bentley with cigar lighters, electric windows, and alsorts of marvellous things. Stan has acquired a red and yellow jacket to wear when driving the group around! Tony has changed the Mustang for a scarlet E Type! The group have sold the WEM equipement and bought Kelsey Morris. So they now play in Stereo on stage.

Luv and things, Lee.
