Peaceology — Get Ready to ROCK! review
Reissue review. Feenstra treats Peaceology as more than a renamed reissue of One More Time for Peace. The remaster has new artwork, three additional songs and a completely revised running order; one original track is removed. In his view, the brighter sound and stronger sequence give the material a new sense of momentum.
The three additions are central to that improvement. “The 7th Floor! Teach Me How It Walks” provides a compelling opening, “EZ Train” adds funk and gospel accents, and “The Only Rose” brings a notably tender performance. Feenstra also hears greater balance between the acoustic roots arrangements and electric, live-in-the-studio energy. His four-star verdict calls the reconstruction an unlikely triumph and a better frame for Chapman’s reflective writing.
